Types of Financing/ Funding

1. Project financing against Bank Guarantees (BG): Short and long term financing against BG, SLBC, CD.
2. Public Sector Financing: Funding against Sovereign Guarantees or government-backed bonds lodged/deposited in the top-rated bank.
3. Financing arranged against Corporate Guarantee (CG) Notes: Includes private project funding/ financing as well as public-private-partnership (PPP)

Procedures:

In order to be able to facilitate project funding/ financing, the following articles have to be submitted:

1. The signed submission request letter of the exact funding/ financing amount. That letter should include the company’s seal and letterhead.
2. The submission of well detailed and independently audited financial forecast. That report should include the independent party’s seal, and letterhead.
3. The submission of a well-executed business plan (feasibility, viability reports) and executive summary. The business plan should include the company’s seal and letterhead.
4. The submission of official letters and documentation supporting collateral evidence to guarantee the required principal capital, ongoing funding as well as interests. BG, CG (supporting 100% or more of the required funding from the top 100 banks). These instruments must be:
   ○ must be of non-criminal origin.
   ○ must be verifiable on a bank-to-bank basis.
   ○ must be fully legible with no alterations or editions
   ○ must be owned, free and clear of any liens or encumbrances
   ○ Irrevocable, Transferable, Divisible, Assignable, Unconditional, Negotiable, Confirmed.
5. The submission of a notarized board of directors statement expressing their acceptance and authorization of the funding/ financing

Screening Process:

Global Finance investments process is based on a constant screening process of all relevant markets. As a consequence of our global network and strong local market position, we are presented with several investment opportunities on a daily basis. Before running the numbers through our financial models, we verify the essential prerequisites, such as the amount of irradiation, financial terms etc.

Demanding Analysis:

After verifying the essential prerequisites guaranteed by the project’s owner, we analyse the figures in our financial model. The result ultimately decides whether the project qualifies for financial, technical and legal due diligence.

Our risk-minimizing approach towards investing implies that we will investigate all variables thoroughly and make careful forecasts with regard to the figures. Only a small fraction of the project presented to us “survive” our demanding analysis.

The signing of the Agreement:

If the project is accepted by our model and qualifies for due diligence, we proceed with the signing of the actual agreement.

It is important to note that the actual finance of the project is not crucial to us. We place emphasis on the importance of the return that our investors can expect from the project.
